ASEAN-India music festival which was held at Purana Qila in Delhi from 6th to 8th October 2017. Organised by ASEAN, or the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, and the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India, in collaboration with Seher, the event was a part of the celebrations that mark 25 years of ASEAN-India dialogue relations. The theme for the festival was “Shared values, common destiny”. With 15 top bands from 11 nations performing over the weekend on one stage, the festival sought to boost cultural influences and exchange between the ASEAN states and India and to foster deeper understanding and tolerance among them with the power of music.
